The "La retraite du Colonel" lodge (gîte) has obtained the "Bikes Welcome" label. The Walloon Region authorities encourage us to widely disseminate this news.
Although they were already welcome, cycling and biking enthusiasts, cycle tourists, day cyclists or those who practice this sport daily or professionally now have even more reasons to stay here.
We look forward to meeting them and explaining the many ways to discover our magnificent region by bike.

Replacing the small hedge
The boxwood hedge bordering the small gravel parking lot succumbed to the box tree moth attacks. So it had to be replaced with something new and pretty. I put in a small fence and four standing willows. I think it looks good. I hope you like it too. We'll add a few more flowers to brighten up the flowerbed.

10th ORFERIDIS Music Festival
Attention music lovers...
The " La retraite du Colonel " lodge supports the 10th ORFERIDIS Festival, which will take place from September 4 to 7, 2025.
A series of concerts will be offered in Falmignoul, Falmagne, Pont-à-Lesse, Huslonniaux, Finnevaux, Mesnil-Saint-Blaise and Blaimont on these dates.
