Charte Gîtes de Wallonie
The owner of the gîte has been authorised by the Commissariat Général au Tourisme of the Walloon Region to use the designation of Gîte rural (rural gîte) in the category 3 ears for 'La retraite du Colonel'. This means that the gîte has obtained official recognition from the Walloon Region, certifying its compliance with a defined level of safety, comfort and equipment of the accommodation.
In addition, as a member of the Fédération des Gîtes et Chambres d'hôtes de Wallonie, the owner of the gîte adheres to a Quality Charter aimed at offering a personalised, warm welcome and quality accommodation to tourists staying at the gîte.
We attach great importance to welcoming our guests, taking an interest in them and meeting their expectations as far as possible during their stay in our gîte. In this way, we hope to offer them complete satisfaction, an authentic touristic experience, an unforgettable stay – or at least a memorable one in the good sense of the word - and the desire to return.
Finally, the gîte has also been awarded the 'Bikes Welcome' label. Cyclists, cycle tourists and other biking enthusiasts will find everything they need here.
